Eh. This ep was fine. I like knowing backstories and Big Mama is definitely a really great antagonist and a formidable foe, but at the same time, I don't really care about her history ??? Knowing she grew up as a kinder person than she is now doesn't really change my thoughts on her as a character, and I think an episode like this would've been nicer to have dropped earlier in this arc. Kinda just feels like one of those "not a filler ep exactly, but the anime was catching up to the manga" eps to me. Idk, even with Doflamingo, I couldn't really feel as much empathy for the main antagonist as I think I could or should have, so I feel like the writing is definitely more strong for the current events rather than the earlier ones in this show...
