Im Mittelpunkt der Serie steht die vermenschlichte Dinosaurierfamilie Sinclair, die in einer Gesellschaft lebt, welche sich als eine Mixtur aus Moderne und einer fiktiven, von Dinosauriern bevölkerten Steinzeit präsentiert und ähnlich wie die Familie Feuerstein einer stereotypischen US-amerikanischen Familie nachempfunden ist. Kern der Handlung sind mehr oder weniger alltägliche Probleme und Ereignisse, mit denen die Familie konfrontiert wird, wobei die Dinosaurier satirisch naiv dargestellt werden. Sie stehen stets im Kontext zur Wirklichkeit, sind meist gesellschaftskritisch ausgelegt und mit Slapstick-Einlagen vermengt

Classic show from my childhood!! Dinosaurs rocked!
I remember watching this show as a small kid because DINOSAURS ARE SO COOL, but rewatching it now made me realise that they constantly talk about pretty important and still relevant topics, hidden in silly prehistoric humour. Certainly didn't expect that from a sitcom about extinct reptiles, but I'm here for it.
Best classic 90s TV show no matter in what year or at what age you watch it.
I remember watching this "animated children's tv show" as a kid, but since the episode where "Baby Sinclair" shows him growing a horn in the middle of his head scared the holy bejeezers outta me; then I didn't continued watching it.
Tolle Kinderserie, allerdings mit einem erschütternden Ende.
