An American girl uses some of the legacy her late father left her to visit relatives in Copenhagen. There she learns that blood is not always thicker than water.

Virginia, a young model, receives an unexpected visit from her fugitive brother who is wanted for attempted robbery. He claims he is innocent and is unable to go to the police as he is being pursued by someone dangerous. Virginia and her roommate then become hostages in their apartment.

A former cardshark tries to go straight, and his old police nemesis has him trap another cardshark in a rigged game.
