I watched the movies a long time ago and decided to watch the series. The series is cute. I enjoyed it but I wished it was longer.

This is a very beautiful and atmospheric series. The boarding school setting feels almost dreamlike, and the calm, quiet filming makes it easy to sink into that mood. I liked how still everything is, how little the show rushes visually, even when the story itself moves faster than it should. Kato Daigo and Daichi Shiozaki do a good job with the first, hesitant stages of falling in love. Their chemistry isn’t constant, but there are moments where it really clicks, especially in smaller scenes. The main issue is that the story feels squeezed. A lot happens in a short time, and several characters and emotions don’t get enough space to fully land. Backgrounds and motivations are hinted at rather than explored, which makes parts of the drama feel rushed.
