If you had asked me begging of September which is my favorite Thai gl series, I would have picked Blank for sure. Now my answer, Affair is by far the best Thai gl series. Sonya and Lookmhee, gave it their all. There are no awkward scenes between them. Their love scenes reflect the passion and desire for each other. They put a smile on your face when they laugh or being goofy. When they cry or fight it breaks your heart. Their acting and chemistry is impressive. It's so pure and natural. I'm thankful to whoever cast them for this roles, cause they are perfect. The series follows the book pretty close. Reaching the end of my review I would like to share with you my favorite part of the book/series and that is [spoiler] when Wan left Pleng. Throughout the story, Pleng is ready to run away, while Wan is waiting and waiting and waiting. She waited 13 years for her. Wan's love has been unconditional, never asking for anything. For me, leaving her, even if she loved her, was a breath of fresh air.[/spoiler]

Ngl, at first i thought this show was something to do with cheating. I was right at the end but completely confused at the start, not bad of a show tho.

Starts off hot, then it shifts to backstory of attraction and tragedy from high school to adulthood. Sonya (Pleng) and Lookmhee (Dr Wan Viva) have mad chemistry, and it anchors the series. The novel‘s plot has its twists and turns which the series captures. It tends to linger on Pleng’s uncertainties too long. The finale was somewhat chaotic because it took plot points that, in the novel, were separated by time, and crammed them into the last half of the finale, when it should have stopped with the resolution of the first 20 minutes. Most Chao Planoy adaptations have suffer from this because the books are lengthy and the series are too short, but I know these are early days in Thai GL series and they are still testing the waters. I give this series a 7 (good) out of 10.

This is one of the best GL's released so far. The story is engaging and has some cool twists, the actresses are actually good at acting (!), the script isn't overly cringy or corny and the male characters actually serve a purpose other than getting in the way just because. And these women know how to kiss, yep.
