All 8 points I gave this drama are because of Kim Yoo-jung’s acting. What a phenomenal performance. Of all the roles I’ve seen her in, this has to be her best yet. She should have received far more nominations and wins for this performance because she was absolutely stunning. Among the child actors who grew up and transitioned into lead roles around the same time, she seems to be the one who has truly mastered the craft. She’s amazing. I hope her next role will be even more interesting.
never doubting kim yoojung ever again
this was rated very high, plus talks of baksang awards etc at time of release. It started out very strong and it kept pushing a darker and more twisted as it went along. Very interesting premise and great acting from her. I just didn't like the ending.
Spoilers ahead! Don’t read between the | | marks. I watched this series because of a TOP 6 of 2026 YouTube list. This psychological thriller was ranked 6th. The premise was interesting as it explored the life of a sociopath, what made her and how that changed her approach to life. Kim Yoo-jung was brilliant in the part, The writing was a captivating until the last episode when the whole thing betrayed itself. | | After a lifetime of surviving unimaginable cruelty from people who were suppose to love her, she is betrayed by the only man she saw as her safe place, who betrayed her by stripping her of her autonomy under the banner of love. I was shocked that the writer/director could betray a character that they had so deftly define and the audience that was rooting for her to survive her own inner demons.| | I was giving the episodes 8s (great), even though the pace lagged in the middle episodes, but the final episode ruined it for me and I gave it a 4 (bad).
soso good i loved the mc
