This has got to be the worse apocalypse show ever, very poorly written, I kept watching hoping this is the episode that gonna make mi wanna see the outcome and it just never happened

Refreshing story in a post apocalyptic setting. Non-spoiler heads up: if you _need_ action or gunfights, steer clear. Procceed if you're looking for introspection/drama. This story is about what comes after the end, but it's actually mostly about what is worth saving. So frequently stories in this genre default to the easier cynical route and fail to even consider what _could_ change, and especially what **should** change if they ever hope to rebuild. This story has its hiccups but it does a good job of exploring that.

For me, he will always be Björn Lothbrok, son of Ragnar Lothbrok... and Lagertha.

Without a doubt one of the most boring series I have seen this year. [spoiler] Every episode they were jumping years in the future, every time introducing new characters. I quite literally don't remember the names of any of them. Every episode the kids were growing up played by different actors I had no clue or interest for where the story is heading towards since every episode it was something different. Characters make actions that don't mean anything and you forget about it by the next time skip. [/spoiler] [spoiler] I guess that was the whole point of the show how life moves on, every story doesn't really matter in the end, but at the same time it's just a terrible concept to make a show out of. I wasn't invested into any of the characters all the death scenes meant nothing to me since it all just moved so rapidly to develop any meaningful story. [/spoiler] The ending is just meh, literally could have been shown anywhere in the show and I wouldn't even think that was meant to be the end for such a show.

I really wanted to give this a shot with the success of FROM, but man this is tough watch. Ended up hopeful at the end of E01, but man something about the actress doesn't feel right in her delivery on things. I really like Alexander in Vikings but this just feels forced for him. E02 just jumps around very fast like it's just trying to move us past this part of the story and I guess that doesn't really make sense to me. probably the end of this show for me, it's very unpalatable.
