Taking advantage of poor people for ”entertainment”. This is what Squid Game tried to warn us of, not inspire.
Such a dumb and completely unrealistic show! The more I watch it the more frustrated and nervous I get. You sign up to take part in a show with the only goal in mind of winning the final prize of $5M, and you voluntarily sacrifice yourself for someone you literally met 40 hours before and consider your "friend". Americans really don't know the difference in meaning of the words "acquaintance" and "friendship".
Look at episode 2: four people refused $1M dollars because they wanted to keep their team in the game, even though only 1 person can win the $5M prize. This doesn't make any sense. And if they accepted the $1M offer, they didn't even have to leave the game, remaining with a chance to win a total of $6M. How can that be possible?
. Either the made up the entire show (highly possible option) or they just chose low-IQ-level people to participate.
The constant jump cuts and ADHD editing make this quite difficult to watch through
As soulless as the facial expression of Mr. Beast on the poster for the show
