Had very low expectations but it was worth it! It is not your classic now trendy AI bad robot who will kill or have sex with your husband. It has a great origin which is narrated from the fantastic flashbacks, some really intense and creepy moments. A few twists to make it more interesting and the result is very acceptable.

Don’t believe the negative reviews (on other sites)! This show is actually very good. During my 50 years believe me: I’ve seen a lot of horror movies and shows (I’m a huge horror fan), and it’s really not easy to tell me/show me something new in this genre. But even I could find new ideas and twists in this story and I enjoyed most of it! It is definitely worth watching!  I’ve watched the whole season in one sitting. I stayed up late at night to see the finale, because the last two episodes were very suspenseful. If you find the show too slow, you should be more patient, because later the story gets scarier and more suspenseful with each episode. I must say that both directing and acting were very good: there’s nothing wrong about that! In a negative review I read something about bad acting “because the actors speak strange and very monotonous”. That’s not true. :) I speak German and believe me: the actors speak 100% authentic German. This is how they speak for Pete’s sake! :) There’s nothing wrong with the acting in this show. If you don’t like German actors or German people, then don’t watch this show! But if you don’t have prejudice against Germans, then you should definitely give this show a chance because it’s very good. The thing that I liked the most in this show: In these “personal robot assistant goes crazy” type of movies usually (people) actors play the role of the robot. In the movie “T.I.M.” the acting was pretty good for example. But in Cassandra the robot is not an actress, it’s a real machine with the face of a woman. I think this is much creepier and more authentic than actors, human beings acting like robots. The only thing I didn’t like in the show (however this thing hasn’t ruined it, I just found it irritating and pointless): There’s too much “woke” in the show. I’m okay with it to a certain level, but in this show it felt forced, didn’t feel authentic or believable: There’s an interracial family in the show and the parents have a gay son. Isn’t that a bit too much? Also: there are a lot of gay romance (even erotic) scenes in it, which I personally didn’t like, and I think gay romance had absolutely nothing to do with the story(!) or with the horror genre in general. But aside from forcing too much “woke” into the story, it’s a very good show. The robot was creepy as hell and the directing and acting were both very good. Give it a chance!

Three episodes in and I’m completely hooked. The AI has a back story which makes this different and far better than all others. 10/10 for each episode so far. This is a must see. Update after finishing the series, superb. Was gripped all the way through and gets better with each episode, leaving you on a knife edge. With all the twists and learning more about the back story in each episode, I easily give this a 10/10. Will rewatch again.

4 episodes in and I'm calling it quits. The show is painfully slow and boring. The family is unlikable with the typical annoying 'cute' kid, then the cliché gay son and the absent/distracted dad and hysterical mother. The killer AI only super power appears to be 'gaslighting' and yes, it is as boring as it sounds. There's not much to praise here... Update: I stuck with it to the end and wished I had gone with my instincts. It didn't get any better...
