Série italienne intéressante, "Le monstre de Florence" retrace la traque d'un tueur durant 17 années. Outre sa catégorie "thriller", cette série témoigne également d'un temps où, même en Europe, certaines femmes devaient subir la domination patriarcale et maritale. La conjugaison des différents aspects de l'histoire débouche sur des situations souvent glauques, malsaines. Imaginer que ce récit est basé sur des faits réels est plutôt malaisant et glaçant. C'est bien interprété, bien mis en scène et les différentes époques du déroulé de l'histoire sont parfaitement restituées donc réalistes. Une bonne surprise.

J'ai été très déçue par *The Monster of Florence*. Pourtant, j'adore habituellement les séries sur les tueurs en série et les affaires criminelles réelles. Malheureusement, je n'ai pas réussi à entrer dans l'histoire. Le récit m'a semblé confus, avec un rythme lent et des personnages auxquels je ne me suis pas attachée. L'enquête autour du Monstre de Florence avait pourtant beaucoup de potentiel, mais je me suis souvent ennuyée et j'ai eu du mal à rester captivée. Une vraie déception pour moi, surtout au vu du sujet.

Dull and completely not interesting. They mess big time with all the back and forth with the timelines, it wasn't done properly, you lose sight. I did not care about the actuall killer at some point, poor production and i do not think it is worth even the 4 episodes to invest
