Based on the description this should have been an intriguing story about a strange humming noise. But it was slow and weird and not in a good way. Claire hears a humming sound and of course, no one believes her. Her husband is especially unsupportive. Claire then learns that a student in her class can also hear the humming. From there the show just plods on and is kinda boring and weird. Its like the show itself is trying to be that weird monotone hum that Clair can hear. It drones on. And while there is resolution for viewers in the last episode about what causes the hum, the ending is also ambiguous implying there may be a different explanation, at least in Claire's mind anyway. But the offical cause was very mundane and it isn't worth sitting through three hours of this show to find out what it is. So I'll spoil it to save you a watch: [spoiler] It was a natural gas pipeline. [/spoiler] And I guess the thing is, you could take the humming sound out of this show, and it wouldn't actually change much. These are all unlikeable characters whose behaviour, really, had very little to do with the humming, and more to do with just people being people.

I really liked this show. It was strange and different. It could have been longer with some more story, but good overall
