A really high-quality production overall. The show gave me strong Dexter vibes because the killer has this super ritualistic way of committing his crimes, which makes everything feel creepy but oddly controlled. The atmosphere and tension are great, and it pulls you in pretty quickly. What frustrated me a bit was the investigation side. I’m not sure if it’s because I watched it with subtitles, but the investigators never seemed ahead of the game. They were constantly playing catch-up instead of predicting the killer’s next move. This keeps happening all the way to the end, even though they have a profiler on the team. You’d think the profiler’s special ability to replay the killer’s path would help more, but it didn’t feel like much of an advantage. As the body count keeps rising every episode, it starts to feel a little exhausting watching them struggle to get anywhere. Maybe that was intentional to build tension, but for me it leaned more toward frustration. Still, it’s dark, stylish, and gripping enough that fans of crime thrillers will probably enjoy the ride.
