Angel ist ein Vampir. Seit dem 17. Jahrhundert hat er als Angelus viele Menschenleben ausgelöscht. Irgendwann geriet er an eine Zigeunerin. Ihre Familie rächte sich an Angel, indem sie ihm eine Seele gaben. Mit dieser spürt er das Leid der Menschen und hat sich aufgemacht, um ihnen zu helfen. Er arbeitet in San Fransisco für “Angel Investigations”, eine Organisation, die Vampire und Dämonen ausfindigmachen und auslöschen soll. Zusammen mit Wesley, Cordelia, Gunn und Fred beschützt er die Schutzlosen. Er kann jedoch nie wirklich glücklich sein. In dem Moment indem ihm wahres Glück widerfährt, verliert er seine Seele und wird wieder zu Angelus.

Just fantastic as any JW project, but when i watched it when it first aired i did not like the final episode. Now i have just finished watching all 5 again and the last one was the best.
My current favorite for worst series ending. Ever! Even worse than Dexter and The Originals! But it wasn't Whedon's fault; the show got cancelled. From best to worst: 1) Season 5 2) Season 3 3) Season 4 (The whole Connor and Cordelia thing really messed this up, nevertheless I like it more than season 1 or 2 because of the addition of Fred and more Lorne.) 4) Season 2 5) Season 1 - a common theme with Whedon's shows, is that I like things more the farther it goes on.
Diese Serie ist ein Spin Off zu Buffy. Im Mittelpunkt steht der Vampir Angel, der genauso wie Buffy versucht die Welt vor dem Bösen zu beschützen. Die Serie ist wie die Mutterserie Kult und sollte man mal gesehen haben.
This spin-off from Buffy the Vampire Slayer earned real respect in its own right. It expanded the Buffyverse and told stories to a more sophisticated, adult audience, much in the way Torchwood did for Doctor Who.🤓
OMG WHAT A SHOW OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMOMGGG after somewhat watching ALL of the monster that the whole buffy show is ofc i had to watch this and my godddddddd yessssssssssss idk if ill ever EVER get over this WHOLE THING it was so surprisingly PERFECT!?!? ALL OF IT!!! maybe its just boreanaz' charisma (see what i did there) ;p but MY GOD. just wow, just wow wow wow god bless buffy for producing this perfect piece of a show (exceptseason4ofc) but WOW..... i watch a LOT of things, and this might be one of the most best things. in the history of things. to watch.... EVER <3 ps. I'll never forget, I'll never forget. *cries* ps 2. also what a sh1tshow they made with cordelia, god. talk about a vendetta. the man HATED HER. if this show is a 9/10, the one bad point is the whole mess they did with cordelia it felt PERSONAL it felt hateful, and awful. so soooooo awful i am so glad she eventually got her lick back by initiating the dude's "cancellation". 100% deserved
