The series strikes an excellent balance between character study and thorough investigation, as if Sara Santano were a kind of Sherlock Holmes. It maintains a certain degree of suspense (we are never sure how the investigation will be resolved), while offering a somewhat melancholic depiction of the uncertainty of retirement, with a sixty-year-old main character who realizes that she has wasted part of her life. It is an unclassifiable proposition, a story about two women who become nemeses due to circumstances, but who end up understanding each other when they talk alone, without the interference that surrounds them. There are no blacks and whites in this story, although there are contributors and non-contributors.
