Amerika in naher Zukunft. Zur Tarnung arbeitet Max tagsüber als Fahrradkurier und macht nachts die Stadt als Diebin unsicher. In dem Cyberjournalisten Logan findet sie einen wertvollen Verbündeten.

look, I started hating this show (decided to start watching 'cause of jensen ackles, since I'm a fan of supernatural). pilot was ok, but next 4 episodes were UNBEARABLE. it was so boring it took me one year to pick up this show again. from the final half of the first season on, it started being watchable. I was starting liking it. second season was the best, if you ask me. led the show to a really interesting path. just saw the finale and I can say I finished this show loving it. second season started in me a sympathy for the characters, even for max, whom I found so annoying and dislikeable in the first episodes. second season also features jensen ackles. second season also bring us JOSHUA, which is THE BEST character in this show. gotta LOVE joshua! he's just adorable. ♥ what can I say? will I miss it? maybe... probably... sometime. will I remember it fondly? for sure. I'm just glad I finished it and, must say, I'm sad to see it go. goodbye, dark angel.
This show is a heart break to talk about, ended WAY too soon. It had so much potential and was absolutely amazing while it was on (especially the first season). I've read the books but it would have been the best to actually see it end rather then read.
Season one has held up very well. Good characters and plot threads without getting offtrack. Also agree a lot of the topics are spot on for some of the things going on today. Good mix of the over arching story line and the day-to-day procedural stories. Season 2 was a hot mess. Didn't really seem to have any direction and the episodes were all over the place. Ended strong but was too little, too late.
Planning on doing a re-watch of this with my wife who's a first time viewer. Really enjoyed watching the pilot again. Some of the political messages are striking today. In the pilot the CEO that raises drug prices to sell on the black market in Canada - today in the real world that happens but the product is sold legally and there has been no pulse like event. Amazing. The pilot laid out just how cerebral Max was too, not just a physical super soldier but a master tactician. 3rd time re-watch now, one of my favourite shows of all time. It’s a shame we never got to see Maxes power on the bike though. Her FTP would be like 5kW 😂
