Der leidenschaftliche Student Ryan bekommt ein Praktikum als Regieassistent, wo er Jane kennenlernt, ein Regieassistent mit der einzigartigen Fähigkeit, die Leidenschaft der Menschen zu entfachen. Ryan lässt sein Leid an den diesjährigen Mitpraktikanten aus, darunter ein Paar bestehend aus dem Account Executive Bamee und dem Redakteur Teh, Pah in der Kunstabteilung und Pie in der Produktion. Im Laufe seiner Ausbildung stellt Ryan jedoch fest, dass Jane netter ist, als die Leute denken, so dass Ryans Herz manchmal einen Schlag aussetzt und es zu seinem Ziel wird, Janes Herz zu gewinnen.

I am not fond of broad Comedy or of BL series, so neither of these things in this series would have queued me up to watch but I’ve grown to have a respect for Studio GMM and I follow the actor, View, so, I was willing to risk it. Despite the broad comedy, it didn’t take long for the characters to begin to fill out which is always a hook for me. It is also an interesting look at the complexities of film making, for the characters are all interns for a production company. I appreciated the emphasis on friendships, the strength of teams and, of course, love. I found it enjoyable. I give this series a 7 (enjoyable) out of 10.
Off and Gun’s chemistry is as solid as ever, and I liked that this felt like a more grounded look at intern life. Their quiet tension really carries the show, especially when the office humor gets a bit too much. It’s a nice comfort watch if you prefer a slow burn and group dynamics over big, loud drama.
