[atresplayer] The series suffers from the evil of the latest biographical productions made in Spain, as supposedly ambitious as they are uninteresting. An interesting story about the production of the musical "Jesucristo Superstar" (1973) in a Spain on the verge of the end of the dictatorship, ends up being a mediocre script that builds antagonistic characters to simplify a look that should have been broader. The level of the actors is not up to the level of the characters they play and, whether due to failed direction or a lack of talent, they end up sowing stereotypes and clichés.
