Der 16-jährige Kyle (Matt Dallas) wacht in einem Waldstück nahe Seattle auf und kann sich an nichts mehr erinnern. Er benimmt sich wie ein Kleinkind, weiß einfachste Dinge nicht, ist aber gleichzeitig ein Mathe-Genie. Zudem hat Kyle keinen Bauchnabel. Eine Psychologin kümmert sich um ihn und stellt bald fest, dass es sich bei ihm um keinen normalen Patienten handelt. Obwohl sie mit ihrem Ehemann bereits zwei Kinder hat, nimmt sie ihn bei sich zu Hause auf.

Bitter as fuck bc it got cancelled AND it ended on a freaking cliffhanger like ok whatever
Season 1 was great, then it flopped -- unsurprisingly, it was cancelled. Would've been better if they'd just done 1 season, told a story, and moved on... ;-)
I just finished a binge of this 2006-2009 ABC Family series and I really enjoyed it. It had been on a list to watch for awhile because I kept running into people talking about it. It has an interesting premise with mystery and warmth. The young cast is very good, it was interesting to see Jaimie Alexander at the beginning of her career, however Marguerite MacIntyre holds down the emotional centre of the series. Although the concept is unique the themes explore some profound questions like, "Are we a product of nature or nurture?". There is wit and humour and some serious intrigue. It is unfortunate that it was cancelled and more so that it finished with a cliff hanger. I'll miss visiting the Trager household. I give this series a 7 (good) out of 10. [SciFi Drama]

Kyle XY (2006) - ❤x6 This was a wonderfully heartwarming, syfy, family drama - until Jessie showed up. And I hate how the bad guys kept *grooming* Jessie - which is partly why she was such a disagreable type character. Another thing I disliked more as the show went on was Kyles forceable will - it was always he is right and I will do anything to prove it, fix it, get it done. Reminds me a bit of #45/47. [SPOILER]and i absolutely HATED that Kyle & Jessie got together towards the end or even for a second[/SPOILER] How I rate: 1-3 ❤ = seriously! don't waste your time 4-6 ❤ = you may or may not enjoy this 7-8 ❤ = I expect you will like this too 9-10 ❤ = movies and TV shows I really love!
