It had great potential, but the execution falls flat. The story is weak, confusing, and filled with inconsistencies, making it a frustrating watch.
A lot of content from the novels had to be cut just to keep the pacing like this. The result is that it feels like every episode covers an entirely different arc. I’m glad it got a full adaptation, but the way it was handled was a bit too much for my taste. That said, the world-building, the characters, and the way they interact are really well done, and the story itself feels surprisingly mature for this genre. The ending, though, left me scratching my head—I’m sure even after finishing it, most viewers will still walk away confused about what really happened.
While the story was good, the anime sucked because of pacing. In 1-2 episodes entire arcs are finished that leave you without details and character development. I recommend you don't watch it.
