Brilliantly made and ridiculously entertaining. Hopefully we will see more than just a single season of this!

Interesting mind games where you actually have to use your brain and think. Most of the participants were smart as hell and they had decently diverse personalities, although naturally some were more greedy than others imo. Deserves a watch if not only for the games themselves that were played during the show.
a show that focuses quite a lot on the emotional and alliance building aspect of these games, rather than skills at the games themselves. ymmv
I binge watched this show thanks to the cliffhanger endings (oh how I missed JJY's trademark editing). There's a lot of drama, betrayals, suspense, and twists and turns. You will root for some characters, and hate some characters. It is a watered down version of The Genius (legendary show by the same producer, if you know, you know). The contestants in general are less intelligent, ruthless, and skilled at games. However, if you missed The Genius, you'll be glad it's back, even if it's in a more social oriented form. At the end, this show is a social experiment. It shows what happens when people are cooped up in a building for a week with no sunshine and outside contact and have to compete with each other for fame, glory, and money.

A very attention demanding show to watch, but should be a fun experience if you're a fan of strategy games. My only beef with the show is that a lot of the games (specially in S1) are made excessively complex to the point that it detracts from the elegance of gameplay (I stand that the best games are relatively easy to learn, but hard to master). This was probably a result of production "playing it safe" given how smart/savvy some of the competitors are, but it leads to the social and meta-game aspect becoming more prominent and important, which can be a frustrating experience if you want to watch a true battle of wits.
