cha eunwoo is somehow the best part of the show which is honestly such character development on his part as an actor but sadly the rest of the cast and actual show doesn't make up for it. the male lead has like... zero charisma.

I hope they keep this series going unlike alchemy of souls which was great and they already axed 😡

I watched this series because I’ve become a huge fan of Kdramas and I’d heard that this has the highest viewership on Amazon Prime, in their emerging Korean Drama genre. Now, I’m left shaking my head as to why so many people watched it. Was it because there were so few options? It was not my cup of tea! What was passing as a fantasy was a monster movie trying to justify itself by a wild assortment of faux religious philosophies in how to fight monsters. The religious perspectives were skewed and disrespectful, the chemistry between the characters was superficial and the finale was disappointing and obviously written in hopes of a second season (which I will never waste my time with again). The only thing I would give it credit for was the CGI. However, fights where mortal wounds are never fatal are rather pointless. I give this series a 5 (don’t bother) out of 10.
