This one is gritty, atmospheric crime drama that refuses to rush its story. The pacing is deliberate, the tension slow-burning, and the world feels lived-in rather than stylized. Randeep Hooda carries the film with a quiet, weathered intensity that keeps you invested even when the plot feels cautious. The investigation unfolds like real work, messy, frustrating, and layered, not some polished puzzle. The supporting cast adds texture, and the setting gives the whole thing a grounded edge. It’s not high-octane thrills, but it’s thoughtful, moody and more satisfying than most routine thrillers. The ending opens up some secrets that are predictable though, but are good, and some angles are set for the next season, which is not coming out... why?
nyc but no ending. and no next season.
