Der NYPD-Detective Avraham Avraham (Jeff Wilbusch) ermittelt in einem scheinbar routinemäßige Vermisstenfall eines Jugendlichen und sieht sich dazu genötigt, seinen Glauben an die Menschheit auf der Suche nach der Wahrheit infrage zu stellen. Im Verlauf der Ermittlungen verstrickt sich die Familie des Jungen jedoch in widersprüchliche Aussagen und deckt dunkle Geheimnisse auf. Gleichzeitig wird Avraham zu einem potentiellen Terrorangriff auf eine Kindertagesstätte gerufen.

No, don't waste your time, there are far better shows to watch. Life's too short. Choose something else.
Do not watch this as a normal 'whodunnit', or police drama. It is a slow burn psychological 'thriller' imo. I do think that too much time is spent developing the characters, and focusing on the religious aspect, but all in all, I think the twists and turns make this a successful series, if you like cerebral, slow burn horror mysteries.
Ugh... Waaay too heavy on the religion for my taste.
