For a german production very good watch. Decent acting - story flattnend but ok.
[Viaplay] It manages to give the true story on which it's based a tone of disbelief that is especially well reflected by the actor Moritz Bleibtreu. And it offers an interesting reflection on a society marked by the stigma of the past that confronts it, either by trying to resurrect symbols of power, or by revealing the identity of the Nazis in disguise. And it places the falsification of diaries in a parallel position together with the false representation of those who participated in the genocide. But, as if it doesn't trust the main story, the screenplay introduces a fictional subplot that is poorly developed and overly discursive, as if viewers aren't capable of grasping the subtleties of the message on their own.
