Everyone is saying this season is crap. I’m my opinion is really good, it’s very simple, but I think it started very well and ended well, not having any bad moment among all the season
AHS should have ended way back after Hotel, which started ok and ended ok. After that it was one terrible season after another. With Matthew Morrison coming to 1984, it reminded me of GLEE, another show from Ryan Murphy that started great and ended up being completely inconsistent, boring and quite annoying. I couldn't finish Apocalypse, I will not finish 1984 either. EDIT: I actually watched it after 3 year hiatus :D It's actually pretty good. I guess Apocalypse is the worst.
This season is crap, crap, crap. The best thing about AHS, and sometimes the only thing that make it worth watching in the later seasons, was the superb cast. Between Angela Bassett, Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Lady Gaga, and Sarah Paulson, you could always count on the actors saving an otherwise mediocre script. However, for whatever reason, they decided to shelve all of their A-List actors this season and leave only teenagers, making this season almost Freeform or CW quality of both writing and acting
I don't really understand all the hate. I personally loved this season. I guess if you enjoy slasher movies you'd like it. The slasher concept, the 80s aesthetic, the story itself, and the characters. Way better and more memorable than the previous season.
I actually thought this season was quite entertaining!
