A coming of age for young adults, showing how everyone has their own troubles. It also expands a lot on the world's lore.
I wasn’t sure where this season was going. It didn’t pick up into universe threatening stakes. It was more quiet, low key. And as it went on I realized oh. That’s the point. After the big universe ending drama you deal with ‘little’ shit like hurting the people you love and feeling like you can or have to fix everything and just have to reckon with you. Who you’re good with and who you’re bad with. Being satisfied with who you are instead of looking for a relationship to do it for you, or letting someone in and admitting they’re important. It’s a great addendum to the first season.
I fucked with it heavy just as much as I did in season 1. Finally was able to know more about HW since she wasn’t expressed much on AT.
While I'm not against character development focused stories, this one still bored me from time to time. Especially compared to season 1, it's unavoidable to feel like it's a downgrade. Still good tho.
