not as enticing/consistently gripping as s1 though it was much more so when Queen Elizabeth pops in for the middle episodes the pawning/marrying off of children as a means of political influence/dealmaking was generally interesting and while the actors for the children didn't immediately win me over, grew on me over the course of the season
