I really didn't expect to love this show as much as I did. I thought I wasn't a fan of romance-heavy shows, but Manner of Death completely changed my mind. The plot kept me engaged, Max and Tul had _amazing_ chemistry, and it had a bunch of my favourite tropes. Whether you're a fan of crime shows, mystery shows, or romantic dramas, I cannot recommend this show enough!! I'll definitely be rewatching it very soon.

I liked the mystery in this drama and that it isn't clear who's the bad one right away. Even though Tan was suspicious that didn't stop me from rooting for him and Dr. Bun, they have great chemistry (undeniable because Max and Tul are friends in real life and have worked together for a while now). The drama comes with twists which make it interesting, but if you focus on forensic accuracy you might want to skip this because fingerprints don't seem to exist in this universe. We see a lot of things where fingerprints or DNA analyses would have solved the issue within one or two episodes. If you can ignore this, Manner of Death is an entertaining crime/mystery drama and worth a watch.

It has potential, the story is interesting and so on and so forth. I really did like that the BL is a smaller part of a much bigger plot, while still very much present. And they are adults, not teenagers with their teenage drama but proper adults with jobs and such—that is always a plus for me. But I just couldn't get over the constant back and forth of "Are they a good guy? Are they a bad guy?" for a bunch of the characters. A traditionally good role/character acts suspiciously, they might be bad, it gets explained, they might be good after all. Then they do something new suspicious and the cycle repeats. I much prefer the characters that gave me a clear "I'm good/bad" and then switches _once_ as a twist instead of the constant back and forth that I felt I got (both with clear doubt and more subtle hints). It made it so that I didn't care about the characters, and therefore didn't care about the suspicions and mistrust as much as I felt like I should have. It also affected how much I could enjoy the relationship between Bun and Tan; Tan is constantly shown as suspicious while I'm supposed to root for their relationship to last or whatever? No, that just makes me want to scream "leave him" at the screen.

what a incredible bl. i think it'll be one of my top 10 best bl series of all the time. such amazing storyline and the actors and their acting were just chef's kiss. they did a really great job in this drama I hope to see them acting in others tv series the main couple will always have a space on my heart, they made me scream and smile with every little demonstration of love or caring
