Am Humanidyne-Institut in Los Angeles erforschen Dr. Billy Hayes und Dr. El Lincoln Menschen mit besonderen Fähigkeiten. Doch in jeder Folge werden sie durch ungeplante Einsätze von ihrer eigentlichen Arbeit abgelenkt. Neben dem Institut tritt auch das US-Militär als Geldgeber auf – häufig jedoch mit abweichenden Interessen, was zu Konflikten führt.

I may or may not have written the local network affiliate in Denver a letter in 1986 5th grade to complain this show was cancelled.
It's not that Misfits of Science is bad. I think I would have loved this as a kid 4 decades ago. It's just from another time, and so what was once good family entertainment no longer is. I tried pretty hard to get through the series, but my reality is that the descriptions of each episode make them sound a lot more interesting than they are.
