Jean-Michel André Jarre (* 24. August 1948 in Lyon) ist ein französischer Musiker, Komponist und Musikproduzent. Unter dem Einfluss von Pierre Schaeffer erschuf er ab Anfang der 1970er Jahre Kompositionen für den Synthesizer, die als wegbereitend für die elektronische Musik gelten.
