John Rankin Waddell (geboren am 28. April 1966), beruflich bekannt als Rankin, ist ein britischer Fotograf und Regisseur. Er war Mitbegründer des Magazins *Dazed & Confused* und ist bekannt für seine Aufnahmen von Models wie Kate Moss und Heidi Klum sowie von Prominenten wie Madonna und David Bowie, aber auch für sein Porträt von Elisabeth II.
