Leslie Samuel Phillips CBE (20. April 1924 – 7. November 2022) war ein englischer Schauspieler, Regisseur, Produzent und Autor. Er erlangte in den 1950er-Jahren Bekanntheit durch seine charmanten, komischen Rollen in der Oberschicht, wobei seine charakteristischen Ausrufe „Ding Dong“ und „Hallo“ zum Markenzeichen wurden. Er wirkte in den „Carry On“- und „Doctor in the House“-Filmreihen sowie in der langjährigen BBC-Radiokomödie „The Navy Lark“ mit. Später übernahm Phillips auch dramatische Rollen, darunter eine BAFTA-nominierte Rolle an der Seite von Peter O’Toole in „Venus“ (2006). Er lieh dem Sprechenden Hut in mehreren Harry-Potter-Filmen seine Stimme.
