Vladimir Totović

Vladimir Totovic was one of the first filmmakers in Yugoslavia, and the first in autonomous province of Vojvodina. After experiencing acting in Budapest, upon return to his native Novi Sad he bought a film camera and made two films before being drafted by Austro-Hungarian Empire during WWI. He died on the front near Gorizia, Italy in 1917.
