This might be the best comedy about drinking beer. Okay, maybe it's the only one, but still. _Beerfest_ is a comedy from the Broken Lizard team. This is a raunchy, fun, fast-paced movie. The plot is very simple: two brothers are taken to an underground Oktoberfest competition, where they hope to find a resting place for their grandfather's ashes. They are denied, and ejected. From there, they assemble a team of beer masters to train for a showdown. This is a comedy that is stuffed with great moments; every time you watch it, you'll see something you didn't notice before. Definitely not the type of movie that gets made anymore. If you're a fan of Broken Lizard or wacky comedy, this is for you.
Pretty funny movie. The way they treat a death of one of the characters is hilarious.
one of the best stoner/drinkn movies ever made. they dont make comedy like this anymore.
Broken Lizard, the team behind this film, is either a comedy group you love or not... Personally, I think they are fucking amazing, and this movie adds some perfection to their absolutely craziness, I love it.
How got this movie a rating of 71% ? Seriously? Well if u get some millions of budget to produce that shit, and if you decide as an director this shit has gonna happen in Germany - can you even get some proper translator who really speaks German? As I am from Austria, German is my mother tongue (some people from Germany might disagree though ^^) I hardly could understand what the "Germans" in this movie are saying. But not only mention the language I might wanna say if this movie should be funny: ITS NOT Better watch something else or do something better with your time. I cannot believe I watched the movie the whole 2 hours to the end.
