Fuck Paramount. This movie deserved the theaters.

Saw the leak 6 months earlier, was enjoyable. Felt more of an episode than a movie!

The movie will do well in October anyway. Fantastic animation, really good music and very decent story. I hope they do more of these.

I saw the leak because I wasn’t planning on subscribing to Paramount to watch it anyway, but I do feel sorry for the artists who worked on this beauty and might be affected by it. The animation is gorgeous, and it totally deserves a watch just for this. It’s got a good pace, good callbacks, and charming character moments, with some occasionally silly animation. It was an enjoyable experience overall. That said, I’ve got some problems with it. The plot is very similar to what we’ve seen in Korra, so it feels pretty predictable and bland compared to the show, in my opinion. The voice acting for Aang didn’t click for me; it lacks the fun of the original and comes across as a bit too whiny. The face designs of the team are very alike, I think the show handled distinct regional features better and had more personality. I feel like Zuko and Toph don’t get much to do (Sokka and Katara have a “save the day” moment each, at least). I think the movie could be better if it were longer.. as it is, it’s a light 7 for me.

im not sure how, but I was able to watch this yesterday. This is very good. The animation was on point, the art it self was very bright with a lot of contrast. This is the best Animation I've seen in Avatar period. I dont think anyone is going to say the animation is bad, it is the best that Ive seen in a good long while. The fights were dynamic, the only ding I have, is that with bautisita voice acting. It sounded like he was checked out, however like I said, im not sure how I came across this so i could have seen a post production version that wasnt completed in terms of sound and music. Overall I think the fans are going to like this one. If I was a betting man, I think this gets minimum 77-80% from critics and 90 to 95 percent from the audience. We really arent lying when we say this is the best animation we have seen of Avatar....ever.
