Esta película película, con un reparto de primera, está cocinada a fuego lento. Sus largos periodos de silencio la hacen parecer, por momentos, una obra de teatro, no hay mucha acción hasta el final, que estalla en una verdadera orgía de violencia. Vista y ya!!! 🏺🏛

thank God for Ralph Fiennes. if not for him there'd be almost nothing to watch here. it's slow, & the acting and cinematography are Hallmark Channel level most of the time.

Like a high school history lesson: flat, old fashioned, classical and easy to sleep through. Odysseus arrives back home on Ithaca after the Trojan War and no one cares, least of all himself. Ralph Fiennes goes full frontal, if that's something you're into. Apart from that, there wasn't much else worth watching here.

A good scene here and there, and solid performances from the two leads can't save this snail pace of a movie that drudges on. I wanted to like this, I wanted this to be epic, but I found myself twiddling my thumbs scene after scene. Great movie to fall asleep to and hopefully you wake up for the last 25 minutes.

Great performances from both leads, as expected, but the movie itself felt pretty generic and amateurish.
