This is one more of those remakes that fails to come close to the quality of the original. They turn it mostly into a cheap, Ben Stiller comedy, with humour that mostly does not land. That, together with them trying to also make it also a drama just does not work. Average at best and not really funny. In summary: forgettable. Watch rather the original.

A general Ben Stiller movie.. funny and awkward moments. Quite predictable story right through to the end. Not his best, but a good time waster. 6.5/10

This is a movie that is rather rough around the edges. I don't know if there was a better movie in there or not - I suspect not because of how cliched the movie is. It really is a shame because the three main characters are very good.
