It is where all that dense setup finally starts paying off. The political intrigue becomes clearer, the emotional arcs hit harder, and the story feels more focused compared to Part I. Mani Ratnam shifts from world-building to resolution, and while the pacing is still measured, it’s more engaging because the stakes are now personal. The drama, betrayals, and relationships carry more weight, even if a few threads feel slightly rushed in wrapping up. That Aishwarya-Vikram conversation scene was peak. Less overwhelming, more emotionally satisfying, and a strong conclusion to a very ambitious story.
