I started skating when I was ten, and my first board was a Powell Ray Barbee, so this documentary covers a time that was very relevant to me. If you skate, if you used to skate, you owe it to yourself to see this. This is a very well-made, emotional journey with some of the biggest names in skating; people who paved the way for the future of skating. The doc tells the story of the Powell team, by way of archival footage, and oral biography from the team members. I would put this up there with Dogtown and Z-Boys (2001) in terms of how well-made it is, and how important I think it is for the history of skating. Totally recommended if you have even been on a board. Even if you haven't, there is still much to enjoy within.
Loved watching this, a great history on how the Bones Brigade came to be the greatest skate team ever.
