Ante Sundaraniki is a well-made fun rom-com. Good use of non-linear storytelling to maintain the pacing of the story and the humor shines too. Introductory social commentary doesn't venture beyond a surface level but, its still welcome given how little of that is done right in Telugu movies. Tad overlong since the script takes little too many detours. Everything said, I love rom-coms and this a pretty good one at that.

Ante Sundaraniki is a light, heartfelt, rom-com which entertains and educates concurrently. We need these kind of movies. One of the best telugu movies ever made. With the cloak of tradition, we forget the human within.

A pretty good rom-com, though the first half felt way too slow and made me almost give up on the movie altogether.

Hillarious, Heartwarming, Genuine Ante Sundaraniki is a light, heartfelt, animated rom-com which entertains and educates concurrently. Bolstered by Nani's impeccable comic timing and command over such quirky characterization, Ante Sundaraniki serves the genre with flying colours. Vivek Athreya's draws inspiration of situational humor and emotional elements from his earlier directed film Brochvarevaru Ra and perfects it even more this time. The magnetic chemistry between Nazriya and Nani shows in every scene they are together as they are sparkling throughout. The film has a 3 hour runtime, but you dont bother about it as soon as you start. Beautiful cinematography by Niketh Bommi and Vivek Sagar's catalytic music will surely appeal to rom-com fanatics. Overall, a stepping stone in modern, coming of age romantic comedies which makes you laugh and teary eyed during the course. The representation of genuine, flawed characters as of Nani and Nazriya seemed pitch perfect. Nani as the rebellious kid who can easily breathes lies in and out and Nazriya a girl who is vulnerable and cares for her family's opinion. They both get together to spill lies in order to get married and the confusion gives rise to situational humor and drama. The direction style os fresh, and cinema lovers will appreciate the non linear style of storytelling which makes the film more engaging. Loved all the performances including Naresh and Rohini's. The star of the show is non but Natural star Nani, his presence evokes energy when he is doing comedy and tears when he tones down to drama. Nazriya's debut in Telugu cant get any better , she is beautiful and her performance was too.
