Completely predictable and 100% unoriginal. The acting is not very good, the dialog is uninspired, the cinematography is bland etc etc. Instead of making an incredibly long list of everything that is bad about this movie I'll say the one thing they did a pretty good job with is the violence which is gritty and raw - I even winced once or twice. Full disclosure I had to turn it off after about 45 minutes to go to work and I have not resumed watching it yet and I may never. There's always a chance the second half is incredible - in which case please let me know. I didn't even get far enough to see poor old Ronny boy beat the crap out of the bad guys... UPDATE: I watched till the end and it's not a horrible movie. Interestingly the cinematography and sound track / score get better but the violence gets less good. Not a horrible movie or a complete waste of time but if you never watch it you're not missing much.

The Baker - ❤x7 This is a pretty formulaic revenge/actioner - but definitely watchable. I mean, come on - it's Ron Perlman - he's always watchable. I'd actually kind of like to see a sequel - called The Bakers (grand)Daughter. How I rate: 1-3 ❤ = seriously! don't waste your time 4-6 ❤ = you may or may not enjoy this 7-8 ❤ = I expect you will like this too 9-10 ❤ = movies and TV shows I really love!

Harvey KEITEL is one of the best actors i have ever seen.This movie is good but not perfect.
