[BFI LFF'22] An elegy on Italy represented by its great creators, authors and filmmakers, through a look at cinema and a theatrical staging, the arts that served as instruments of resistance against fascism. Although irregular, it is a film that claims the freedom of a non-linear structure and that has Luigi Pirandello, Vittorio Taviani, Roberto Rossellini and other authors as the central axis of its reflection on how ephemeral life is and how surreal death can be.
