1 hour & 20 minutes of watching a woman on the phone, what a borefest. I’ve had better entertainment having teeth pulled out at the dentist. I can only assume Naomi Watts took out a payday loan that she can’t pay back so had no option but to do this movie.
If the woman had just started jogging directly, she would have arrived at the gathering point in about 45 minutes. Typical Americans. They portray 8 kilometers as an insurmountable distance on foot. Instead, she stops every 3 meters and unnecessarily makes phone calls. If she had run, she could have covered the distance in 30 minutes. You can't get information faster by phone. Just stupid. It ruins the movie for me.
A very good fictional movie to provide an inside look to what parents go through when there is an active shooter at a school and how it can negatively interrupt a family's healthy cycle (at least emotionally). This film follows a mother who is on her morning 4-5 mile jog through the local trails while tragedy suddenly happens as a shooting breaks out at her child's school. The entire film is her making frantic phone calls to find out info and to know if her son is ok, all while doing the best she can to find her way back as she is 3 miles into wilderness. A very edge of your seat, realistic, great acting film that is a must watch.
terrible.. I turned it off after 20 min when I realized the entire movie is a women running in the woods ... nope not for me
Mix a woman running through the forest, on her phone the entire time, and poor script..you get this movie. Gave it a 5 to be generous. And of course had to make it political at the end. I regret watching this honestly but oh well. I haven’t looked at the budget for this film but it had to be low.
