By far the funniest movie ever, no matter how many times you see it. Still get steamed at the ending but you learn to live and let go.

Not really my kind of movie. I can see why some people would love it.

If you ever come to use in danger the Holy Hand Granade from Antioch remember this: >"First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it." ...or if you don't have it you just can say "Ni" that would also work. ;)

If you like slapstick comedy and/or British humor, you will probably like this movie. It's the first movie of Monty Python I've seen (and, as far as I understand it, also their first "real" movie) and I have to say I am really impressed. While there are some minor flaws, most of the jokes work really well and really did make me laugh. The most obvious flaw to me was the runtime. One hour and 30 minutes felt a tad too long for the story they were trying to tell. I think a good twenty to thirty were a bit wasted setting up jokes that didn't really pay off. That, plus the weird animations that I didn't really enjoyed, is the reason I'm rating it 8/10. Overall, it's a movie worth watching. If you don't know Monty Python it's a good way to enter their world. Considering the low budget and the relative inexperience with movies, Monty Python managed to create a very funny story and I can't wait to watch something else by them.

Wanted to watch this since I saw the musical Spamalot. Very funny, yet very random. Made more sense seeing the musical I would imagine
