Jede fängt mal klein an

The twist caught me off guard , some brutal kills , a fine prequel to know more about Esther
Not me paying for Paramount+ and Showtime annual plan but rarely using both services 😭. Anyway, I didn't expect this slasher prequel to be so entertaining. This is a film that knows exactly what it is and embraces the silliness to create a slasher that isn't even scary but is a whole lot of fun. This mostly works because Isabelle Fuhrman is delightful as the 'evil kid' with the side characters that are equally entertaining to watch. I dig a lot of the choices made stylistically and every time things begin to look predictable, there's another bizarre twist toss into the mix. Some of the kills are pretty gnarly as well. The best slasher film of the year. 👏
Very predictable. Ending credits are scarier as the movie itself. And whats up with tje misty color grading? But the twist was good atleast.
A really fun prequel with lots of cool bloody kills. Isabelle Fuhrman was awesome and while she obviously aged and this is a prequel I think they did the best they could and I completely forgot she was actually older. I like that it feels like a 2000s horror and it has the same style as the original. It's not as good as the original but definitely fun and I didn't see that twist coming! We didn't get to see her first kill though and how did she get in that mental hospital? We need a prequel to the prequel! Or a sequel i'll take anything they got bring it on I love Esther
Didn't think I could find a serial killer midget attractive, as well as scary. The first film was better as a horror, this was more "Netflix" like, watch it and forget it.
