Vidyut doing something he hadn't done before - carrying emotional weight alongside the action. The first half is genuinely tense and the helplessness of watching your partner disappear in a foreign country hits with real anxiety. The second half goes full action mode and loses some of that emotional grounding. But for a Vidyut film this is leagues above his usual output. He surprised here. Genuinely.

This movie is laughable at times. Wasted 2 hours! Skip this one..

The action of this film is not exactly bad as most viewers opine but the thing is that it is just not the Vidyut Jamwal action one yearns to see. The first half is good and the second half is just okay mainly because there is not the action you want to see. Vidyut is no Commando in this film and the film attempts to harp on his common man image which otherwise looks forced upon. And this is more of a romantic thriller than an out and out thriller. So if you want to watch a Commando, then do give this a miss. Or else, you might not dislike this movie. Its better than most others you must have watched recently. The plus point is Vidyut and I don't see any other stars that can carry this role except Ranveer Singh.

This one is half baked and has terrible shift of momentum in the second half. The First half of the movie seems interesting and runs at a good pace but the 2nd half is completely a lackluster show. With one of the best action stars of the country Vidyut , the movie was expected to be an action thriller while you get that in very limited quantity and is poorly choreographed. With a very poor screenplay the drastic change of momentum occurs also due to unecessary songs in the second half. Vidyut has given a very convincing performance as the common man in desperation to meet his wife in an unknown territory, showcasing the vulnerability and poise of a man in agony. Anu Kapoor is a veteran and is flawless. Shiv Pandit's and Aahana Kumra's character are very poorly written and their performance wasn't very Convincing as well. Lead actress shivaleeka has very minimal role for which i can't comment. Overall , Khuda Haafiz is a poor film carried entirely by Vidyut on his shoulders.
