Just another commercial movie, that suffers from poor Screenplay. The movie is made just to attract mass audience and make money. Even good actors like Tabu, Sanjay Mishra, Rajpal Yadav can't do anything to make this movie good. Unnecessary Scenes just to push the plot and (or) increase Run time. Background score keeps ruining the scenes. The movie isn't scary, there are just jump scares. Many viewers may find the movie entertaining, but since it's the 2nd part of a great movie, I was expecting more. Wasted 2 hours of my life. If you loved Part 1 of the movie and are expecting the same level of Storyline, Acting, Direction, Music, then don't watch this movie. The 1st movie was just epic and this one is Trash.
Ok as a one time watch. The first one was better but this movie can stand by itself. If you haven’t seen the first one, don’t worry. Beyond the nostalgic tunes, this movie is quite independent.
It ditches the psychological creepiness of the original and goes full ghost-comedy with glossy jump scares and louder humour, but it’s not what it think it is. Tabu is the real showstopper though, carrying both menace and elegance like the film is her playground. It’s lighter, flashier and far less layered than the first, but as a commercial entertainer, it did fine, but obviously everyone expected more.
