The first feature film by this young Sardinian director, _L'agnello_ is a delightful drama with wonderful performances and excellent scenography. Set in the Sardinian hinterland, an area characterised by a difficult way of life, it offers a glimpse into the life of a family afflicted by misfortune. The actors, some of whom are non-professionals but absolutely up to the task of performing the intimate and delicate script, make this film an enjoyable product that should be taken as inspiration by many Italian producers.
