[Stockholm FF] On a reflection on inner hatred, rooted in education, Mancini's debut presents a story that is sustained thanks to a successful directing. The film expresses more with silence. Because it is certainly difficult to justify the actions of the characters, especially the two brothers. There is a better portrait of the Jewish doctor that Alessandro Gassman portrays with conviction. But it's not enough.
