[DocMadrid] We could say that this is the second part of a trilogy that began with "Streetscapes" (2017) and continues with "The lobby" (2020). If that was a dialogue and the last one is a monologue, "The last city" multiplies spaces and protagonists. It is the adaptation of a dream, in which time and place change, themes intersect, references to the past, present and future are mixed to offer a humorous look. "German-Japanese Guilt Wurst". It is as heterogeneous as the others, and can be pedantic at times. But it is also the conception of cinema as a game of narrative mechanisms.
